Before you train

Safety notice and informed participation

Exercise and exercise equipment involve risks, including loss of balance, falls, strains, sprains and other injury. Choose only movements that are appropriate for you, your surroundings and your equipment. Start slowly, use a comfortable range and stop if you feel unwell.

Fitness instruction, not medical care

TWOMORE provides general consumer fitness instruction. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, physical therapy or emergency monitoring, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified health professional or for an in-person trainer or spotter. TWOMORE does not guarantee injury-free participation.

When to seek professional guidance

People without symptoms or diagnosed chronic conditions generally may not need medical clearance before gradually increasing moderate activity. Before exercising, consult an appropriate qualified health professional if you have a health condition or disability, an injury, are pregnant or postpartum, have been advised to limit activity, develop symptoms with activity, or are unsure whether a movement is appropriate for you. Follow the advice and restrictions they give you.

Prepare the space

Use a clear, well-lit, nonslip area with enough room to complete the movement. Secure the phone and use only stable, suitable equipment. Choose a manageable load, keep children, pets and loose objects out of the movement area, and do not continue when fatigue or your surroundings make the exercise unsafe.

Camera and AI limitations

Reference similarity beta compares a limited set of visible body landmarks with approved reference photographs. It can miss or miscount a movement. It cannot detect pain, internal strain, joint loading, breathing, fatigue, medical conditions, unstable equipment, surrounding hazards or every technique error. A green guide, rep count, score, star, audio cue or completed set is not confirmation that your form is correct or that an exercise is safe for you.

Stop for warning signs

Stop exercising immediately for chest pain, pressure or tightness; fainting or feeling faint; dizziness or confusion; unusual or extreme shortness of breath; a fast or irregular heartbeat; sudden severe pain; new weakness or loss of balance; or any other alarming symptom. If a symptom is severe, sudden, worsening or does not resolve, contact local emergency services now (911 in the United States) or seek urgent medical care. TWOMORE cannot assess the symptom or contact help for you.
